1 You are upgraded classes automatically, with no option not to upgrade.
Once you have moved up a class, you can no longer race in lower classes.
You cannot downgrade classes.
2 'Total Upgrade Points Earned' is the total points you've won across all your cars, by placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd.
This includes points you've already spent on upgrades in the past.
Upgrading to the next class does not take/cost any points.
3 'GTA 1 -3' means you can get the car through the Grand Theft Auto Crime.
(1 - Steal a Parked Car, 2 - Hijack a Car, 3 - Steal car from Showroom)
A $ price means you can buy the car from the docks.
4 'Effect' was researched by checking the source code for the length of the green state bars in car info, and then the difference after an upgrade. These tests were all done on (Car), simultaneously- eg enough points saved to buy all upgrades, then upgraded one by one, with no races done during this period.
'Effects' are gained by checking the source code for the length of the (green) bars displayed next to cars after an upgrade.
You can lose car upgrades (1-3) by crashing your car. You have a chance of crashing with each lap, so long races have a higher possibility of crashing. Increasing the 'safety' stat of your car possibly decreases your chance of crashing. High speed and acceleration but low handling and braking may increase chances of crashing.

The original Race Track was closed on 5.31.2010, and replaced with this one on 9.26.2010. Click Here to see archived information on the old one.

In case this is helpful,

I OD'd, got kicked out of education, then signed up for a race and got 1st place.

I'm guessing addiction level has no (or very small) effect on racing ability, further testing needed of course smilies/wink.gif

Cheers,
Matty

Anyone else notice that Top Speed in MPH and the Top Speed bar chart don't seem to be related.

Compare the Mini and the Corsa
Mini (TS):25% - 75mph
Corsa (TS):12% - 99mph
Clio (TS):37% - 116mph
Peugeot (TS):25% - 109mph
