Anyone got some information about this new type of Award?

Here are the Honors and Medals that you've achieved in Torn. To view all of your awards, click 'Honors' or 'Medals'. You have a total of 26 awards and 4 merits available! You gain one merit every time you achieve an honor or medal.
You will also find 65 country flags in the Honors section by default, take a look!

The things that people will start get merits for each honor. It take time to get them but the will appear next to the award it goes too. if you need more info my Id is 610416
