Removing the ability to purchase dogs, and having to keep them around through breeding means that dog prics should rise,and breeds will probably get rare or even extinct. There's no information from staff that points towards them fully removing pets...

I really have no problem with them taking out pets, as long as they compensate the players who own pets for what they have.

For Example, I payed a total of 1.5 million for my pedigree dogs and have been spending energy and money to train and feed them and keep them happy so that I can eventually fight them. One is pregnant and once she has her puppies i will fight both the male and female as I think both are very strong dogs. Now if they get erased before I have the opportunity to fight them and recoup my money from betting, I think I should be entitled to a decent sum of money...especially since i bred them and intend to fight the offspring as well.
