One that influences TCB directly is the creation of an 'official' help wiki.
We look forward to seeing the results, and remain confident that there will always be a place (at the very front) for TCbasic.com.

Since our move to joomla we've answered over 8,000 questions in comments, and further millions in page views, doing our best to remain professional and helpful, which we believe we've achieved (compared to TC's official staff in any case ;)
Also, keep in mind that we're an independent site. This specifically means that TC's admins have no control over us, and we can post information staff may censor on their 'official' channels. In fact, the reason TCB is currently operated by mostly anonymous staff is because we had issues in the past where admins federal jailed TCB admins for making information on bugs available to players of all kinds, not just high levels who were openly abusing them.
Even if we are no longer the most comprehensive TC help site, which we don't foresee in the near future, we will still be here as an independent alternative, and an open forum for users to speak freely, as well as submit their information.
We look forward to seeing the community results on the Wiki, and are looking forward to the new updates and events that Chedburn has in mind.
The site is looking great, and we have high hopes for its future progress!

I quite like the idea of TCBasic being an independent site, that moderates the content without over-controlling and censoring it. I see the TC Staff doing random stuff that they probably shouldn't, and then covering it up. One time in a topic, Ched even gave someone a 3 month forum ban for saying they dislike an update and would prefer that TC get the bugs fixed. When I called him on it, he said that it was a useless post, and then locked and graved the whole topic.
I know that I for a fact will keep coming to TCBasic as a source of reliable information, and as an open, non-censored site, rather than going to the new Wiki and seeing censored, openly editable, not-always-correct information.
