Re:Hunting: Gains (we need your help)2007/09/25 01:08 I think I’ve now reached the point (or am extremely close) where hunting is no longer profitable. Last week I spent 7 days hunting in africa and made nearly 1 million over 7 days (bare in mind I spent around 10 hours during the day at work/away from the computer so potentially I’ve estimated it could have been near 1.5million). However, as of yesterday I attempted to do my first GTA crime and suceeded. Since then I’ve done 12 GTAs and only failed 3 of them. In those sucessful GTA crimes I’ve made over 56k if I sell the cars at the docks. Selling at auction/item market I could potentially increase that to around 60k if the car hunters are there. Now with hunting if I did 10 sets of hunting at the standard level… the last time I did it I was getting near 50k+ per set of ten… At over a week that for me was a huge sum of money to get every 4 hours or so… But now… Now that I can do GTA’s and make a large sum of cash with each crime, the reason to hunt is now a lot less than it was previously. The main reason why, is that now I can take part in a faction without taking long periods of time off, use the casino, use the race track. Use the forums, train stats… etc. Meaning that for me, I think I’ve reached the moment when hunting will be a waste of time, GTA gives you such a giant leap of cash compared to that given from robbery/drugs. I left out arson/virus/assasination because for arson you need a gas can (not a cheap investment.) And virus only gives a lot of cash when you have a stealth virus and are at sufficient exp to do it. Whilst assasination is good for exp and cash, it’s very very unpredictable when it comes to jail time. And failing a drive by is an absolutle killer to crime exp. I’ll probably still go hunting. But theres no way I’ll spend as much time on it in the future.

Re:Hunting: Gains (we need your help)2007/09/26 12:34 Hogfather By doing GTA you can make so much more money than with hunting. GTA1 earns you between 7k and 30k. Per crime GTA2 earns you up to 69k. Per crime. (in my case) It is realy bad that they changed the amounts of money made during a hunt. Such a big waste of Energy. Before that update you got at least a descent sum of money for it. Just done my 404th GTA, so got the second award. Selling 170Cars earned me 4.8M. So thats a nice cash. Now im gonna work on my Arson crimes. Only have 680 of them, and my goal is to get 4000 of them. Im just gonna do an eventual drug/assassination/virus crime in a while.
