Networth is the (hidden) amount of money you’ve made from certain things in Torn City.
- Networth is not the amount of money you have, nor the value of the possesions you own.
- You gain Awards and Ranks by achieving a certain Networth. Please see the relevant pages for those figures.
- There is no way to see your current networth.

You can raise your networth quickly, for a price, by buying and selling items from shops.
This is because the sell value of any item you sell, from your inventory or to a shop (see table above), is added to your networth, making selling items a quick way to increase it. Remember that you will lose the difference in buying and selling price.
The following table shows the effectiveness of some popular items sold for networth:
|Item||Cost||Sell Value||Efficiency 1|
|Six-pack of Beer||$ 200||$ 175||87.5 %|
|Flamethrower||$ 3,000,000||$ 2,500,000||83.333 %|
|Peugot 106||$ 8,000||$ 6,500||81.25 %|
|Full Body Armour||$ 75,000||$ 60,000||80 %|
|ArmaLite M-15A4 Rifle||$ 20,000,000||$ 15,000,000||75 %|
|Riot Gear||$ 10,000||$ 7,500||75 %|
